Hursh Painting worked directly with the owner of Messick’s Equipment in Adams County, PA to complete a phased repaint of their existing service facility. Phasing the project allowed the facility to stay operational throughout, with work completed in planned sections rather than all at once. Before a single coat of industrial coating went on, extensive cleaning of the surfaces was completed. In a working service facility, surfaces accumulate grease, oil, dust, and contaminants that bond to walls and structural steel over time. Coating over a contaminated surface is one of the most common reasons industrial paint jobs fail prematurely. Cleaning first is not optional. It is the job.
