Job Name: Earth, Turf & Wood

Year Completed: 2022

City: Denver, PA

County: Lancaster

General Contractor: Scenic Ridge Construction

Description:

One Facility. Three Very Different Spaces. One Contractor.

Not every room in a commercial building gets painted the same way. A professional showroom has different finish requirements than a back-office corridor. A wash bay has different requirements than both.

Scenic Ridge Construction brought Hursh Painting on to complete all interior and exterior painting for Earth, Turf & Wood’s new 18,200 square foot facility in Denver, PA. The building includes offices, a showroom, and a wash bay, each space with its own standards and its own demands. Getting the finish right across all three required the right coatings for each environment, not a one-size-fits-all approach.

What We Did

Office and Showroom Painting
Interior painting throughout the office and showroom areas was completed with clean, professional finishes suited to a customer-facing commercial space. A showroom is where first impressions are made. The painting work had to reflect the quality of the brand behind it.

Exterior Painting
The full exterior of the 18,200 square foot facility was painted as part of the project scope, giving the building a polished appearance that holds up to the Pennsylvania elements and communicates professionalism from the outside in.

High-Performance Coating System, Wash Bay
The wash bay required a different approach entirely. Wet environments with constant water exposure, cleaning chemicals, and surface abrasion will quickly destroy standard paint. A high-performance coating system was selected and applied specifically for the wash bay, providing durability and surface protection built for that environment. Choosing the right coating for the right space is one of the most important decisions in commercial painting work.

The Result

Earth, Turf & Wood’s new facility opened with finishes that match the professionalism of the company and the demands of each space inside it. Clean office and showroom interiors, a strong exterior presence, and a wash bay protected by coatings built to last in a tough environment.

This project is a good example of what commercial painting looks like when scope, surface conditions, and coating selection are taken seriously from the start. Not every surface gets the same treatment. They shouldn’t.
